About Us...

Gladstone Pressure Welders was established by its founder, Boris Antic, in 1982. Since then the Company has grown to become one of the regions leading engineering companies specializing in the construction, gas, petro-chemical and mining industries. The first significant contract won by Gladstone Pressure Welders was with the Central Queensland Ports Authority (formally Gladstone Port Authority) being the construction of the first overpass bridge at the Clinton Coal Facility.

In addition, we have also had long associations with Orica - from construction of their Yarwin plant with works including fabrication and installation of stainless steel and carbon tanks and associated pipe work. Twenty five years later the Central Queensland Ports Authority and Orica are still two of our most valued clients.

We are centrally and conveniently located close to main rail, road and shipping networks. We employ well qualified trained and experienced personnel skilled in the following areas:

- Tested welding procedures to AS4041, AS1210, AS3992,B31:3, ASMI-IX and AS1554 SP

We are well equipped to take on jobs of any size. Our facilities include 1050 sq meters of shop floor, 7300 sq meters of secure storage yard with dual street access, innershield MIG, TIG and manual metal Arc welding, cutting, punching and drilling machines, lathe and machine work 2.4m bed, 5 and 10 tonne overhead cranes, 14 tonne Franna mobile crane and 25 tonne Humma mobile crane.
